Apthorp Associates LLC purchased the property in March 2007 and is controlled by an affiliate of AREA Property Partners. AREA is a leading international real estate investor and fund manager headquartered in New York. Affiliates of AREA Property Partners have been involved in the conversion of approximately 2,000 multifamily rental units into condominium residences in recent years.

The Apthorp’s managing agent is Broadwall Management of Apthorp LLC, an affiliate of the Feil Organization, an owner, developer and manager of over 26 million square feet of real estate throughout the United States.

Specializing in owner and lender representation, construction loan administration, and risk management for insurance claims, the BCS team of architects, engineers, construction managers, and real estate finance specialists provide strategic solutions for a variety of real estate projects.

Broadwall Consulting Services has completed various multi-million dollar projects, including:

• * A $44 million state-of-the-art interior retrofit for CUNY/LaGuardia College and the NYC Board of Education/Frank Sinatra School of The Arts

• * The complete exterior restoration of a landmark building on 57th Street in Manhattan that garnered an award from the New York Landmark’s Conservancy in 2008

• * Managing the conceptual design and ground-up construction of a $75 million mixed-use retail/office/hotel project in Pittsburgh, PA

• * A $135 million emergency property restoration and insurance claim recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, LA

• * Supervising the ground-up construction of a $45 million, 125-room hotel and luxury condominium building in Harlem, NY
